Project | 01 Wish Kid Holiday Party

Every year Macy's teams up with Make-A-Wish to raise $1 million dollars to ensure that every child is granted their one true wish. It is the responsibility of every Make-A-Wish chapter to host a publicity event that encourages people to contribute by writting letters to Santa at Macy's

Project | 03 My First Tent Wedding

In 2015 I coordinated 35 weddings at Catamount Country Club. In August I was given Catamount Country Club's first tent wedding. No one at Catamount Country Club had ever planned a tent wedding before, so it was my responsibility to figure it out. It wasn't easy but it went off with out a hitch!

Three lessons learned

1. You cannot do everything! Tent weddings require lots of heavy lifting and full of surprises. Create a strong team that you can rely on for the entire process.

2. Water, water, water! If your venue is not set up for outdoor, tent weddings, create a water plan. Outdoor weddings make your guests extremely thirsty and your staff needs an easy way to refill water glasses.

3. Create command system! Everything takes longer when you're doing it outside, to communicate the delays you must establish a command system. Walkie-Talkies or cell phones work really well.
