I have been a competitive figure skater since I was 6 years old and I was the first Vermonter to go to the U.S. National Championships in 2005. In 2010 I became a professional figure skater for Royal Caribbean Int’l. In 2012 I was elected to the role of Ice Captain, important tasks included; maintaining the integrity of ice shows, producing personalized schedules for 10 cast members, communicating with supervisors and managers in all divisions on board the ship, reporting to the shore-side office, evaluating all 10 cast member’s skating quality. Other Ice Captain tasks included: successfully executing evacuation procedures for hundreds of guests, basic fire fighting training, managing hundreds of guests on public skating sessions, providing the gold standard of customer service, and sustaining a high level of skating in the performances every week.
